If you don’t like the way your body looks, what might your Spirit say? Your mind constantly finds fault in all of your body’s imperfections. But in changing the way your body looks on the outside, you also alter the inside. Everything is connected! When we drop our minds and ask our Spirits for guidance, we see a different side of ourselves that goes far beyond physical appearance.
Your Spirit knows what it needs to achieve its purpose, but your mind constantly gets in the way.
Just think of this, if you don’t like your body, how does your Spirit [feel about it]? But your Spirit never complains; your mind constantly complains. Right? Your mind complains—I don’t like my crooked nose. So what do you do? Go to the doctor and change it. I don’t like my droopy lids—you pull up. I don’t like my boobs—pop up. I don’t like my butt—suck it in. So, if you don’t like it, you change it. You never ask the body, “Can I do that for you?” What happens when the outside changes? The inside changes, too. You never understand the relationship. We just go based on the mind. We do whatever we want to do.
